The Get Organized Institute (TGOI) is The Training and Research Centre on Professional Organizing, and pursues a threefold purpose;

1. Research
TGOI initiates and performs scientific research in the field of Professional Organizing. TGOI investigates the backgrounds and manifestations of disorganization. Furthermore, it studies the effects of organizing interventions designed to improve organizational processes in companies, government agencies and private households.

2. Training
TGOI offers the 'Training to become a  Professional Organizer®' to small groups of highly-qualified students. In face-to-face meetings students receive training in the a) hands-on organizing of the physical environment of clients, and b) psychological and behavioural coaching of clients throughout the organizing process. TGOI also offers students a Certificate and a possibility for internship.

3. Speaking engagements, Workshops and public information
TGOI also provides up-to-date, practice-oriented, Speaking engagements and Workshops for a wide variety of target groups also, it diffuses its knowledge and expertise to the general public by means of publications.
